Established within the framework of the Kingdom of Maroc's ambitious strategy to develop modern, high-level infrastructure, SONARGES plays a key role in implementing structuring projects that meet international standards.
Mission
Under the supervision of the Ministry of National Education, Preschool, and Sports, SONARGES's mission is to strengthen and professionalize the management of sports facilities in Maroc. Established in 2008, the national company ensures the management and maintenance of the country's main sports infrastructure, including major stadiums and sports complexes. In 2024, its management scope expanded to include 77 facilities, with the objective of making Maroc a model in sports. SONARGES also oversees stadium modernization works in preparation for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) and the 2030 World Cup, including the construction of the world's largest stadium in Casablanca, an emblematic project for the country.
